2024 Section 5 girls golf on RocVarsity.com

(Oct. 16, 2024) -- Victor junior Destiny Jodoin fired a second-round 76 en route to an eight-stroke victory in the Section 5 individual tournament at the Country Club of Rochester.

Jodoin, who carded a field-best five birdies over 36 holes, shot 83-76 to finish at 15-over-par 159 in improving from a sixth-place performancein the 2023 tournament.

Fairport's Harper Dittman, who won the Monroe County Tournament of Champions title and was the 2023 sectional runner-up, finished second at 167. She was followed by Jennie Piao of Harley-Allendale-Columbia at 170. They will head a nine-player sectional delegation at the NYSPHSAA championships beginning June 8, 2025, at Wild Wood in Rush.
