2023 Section 5 girls golf on RocVarsity.com

(Oct. 15, 2023) -- Sophia Cellura of Our Lady of Mercy won the Section 5 girls golf championship by six strokes in a tournament trimmed to 27 holes by the weather.

The field played nine holes at Penfield Country Club on Saturday and then a full round the following day at Ravenwood Country Club.

Cellura, who finished fourth in the 18-hole 2022 tournament, totaled 114 after a final-day 76 to finish six strokes ahead of Fairport's Harper Dittman and seven up on Aquinas' Emily Ferguson.
