(Oct. 15, 2022) -- Mercy star Julia Zigrossi captured her third Section 5 girls golf championship by shooting a 74 at Webster Golf Club to rout the field.

Emily Ferguson of Aquinas finished eight strokes back with an 82. Fairport's Harper DIttman, who tied for fifth a year earlier, placed third.

The tournament was reduced to one day from two after unplayable conditions forced the cancellation of the first scheduled round.
