2019 Section 5 girls golf on RocVarsity.com

(Oct. 15, 2019) -- Claire Yioulos followed her opening-round 78 with a 76 to finish at 154 and capture the Section 5 girls golf championship by nine shots at Brook-Lea Country Club.

Yioulos, who also won the Monroe County Tournament of Champions a week earlier, was the sectional runner-up in 2018. The senior attends Honeoye Falls-Lima and plays on a combined team with Victor.

Spencerport freshman Julia Zigrossi finished second at 163, followed by Pittsford sophomore Jayde Ford at 171. They will be part of the section's nine-girl team in the NYSPHSAA state tournament in June at Deerfield Country Club.
